Rapid Switch System rack used with BakFlip Mx4. Is it true you lose the water tight seal of your cover using the Rapid Switch System?According to Gfvillano in a follow up answer he claims it does in his install.

We've not had any feedback that would indicate that the Rapid Switch Systems Pro Sport Ladder Rack - BAKFlip Tonneau Covers # RS69FR causes the tonneau to be less water resistant including the BAKFlip MX4 part # BAK48329 that fis your 2018 Ford F-150 5-1/2 ft bed. You should note that no tonneau cover is water tight and will leak some water if the rain is heavy enough.
I was not able to find any info from anyone named Gfvillano also.
