Question:
Hi, Im looking for the highest capacity hitch I can get for my new 2021 Mazda 3 Hatchback. I pull a little trailer around every now and then and want something sturdy. What do you have available?

For your 2021 Mazda 3 Hatchback, I recommend going with the Curt # C98BR. At the time of this writing, this is actually the only hitch we have that is confirmed for your vehicle, but due to its hidden design, it is one that I do like. With this being a Class I hitch, it will have a 1-1/4" receiver and is rated up to 2,000 pounds towing and 200 pounds of tongue weight, though you will need to check your owner's manual for your vehicle's capacities.
To complete a towing set up, you will need the Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # 118808, which is the best harness we currently have on offer for your vehicle, and a ball mount, ball, and a pin and clip. The correct ball mount will ultimately depend on how much rise or drop you need, but the Draw-Tite Drawbar # 3594, which includes a pin and clip, will have 4" of rise and will have no problems fitting this hitch. Smaller trailers will typically have the 1-7/8" coupler on them, so you will also need the Draw-Tite 1-7/8" Hitch Ball # 19256, and a # 18050 stabilizer strap to complete the set up.
1-7/8" Hitch Ball - 3/4" Diameter x 1-9/16" Long Shank - Chrome - 2,000 lbs
Draw-Tite Drawbar for 1-1/4" Hitches - 4" Rise - 10" Long - 2,000 lbs
