I have a 2022 Ram 2500 with OEM prep and a short bed. What sliding hitch do you recommend for my fifth-wheel trailer?

When considering a fifth-wheel hitch for your short bed 2022 Ram 2500 with OEM prep, I recommend the Demco Hijacker # DM8550035 (21k) or # DM8550034 (18k). With the Hijacker, it comes with an autoslide feature that activates the slide when you make sharp turns. This takes the headache away from having to step outside the truck in order to manually activate the slide on manual-slide hitches. It also comes with a single jaw that provides a more secure and quieter connection than sliding-jaw models.
To complete the installation on your truck, you also need the Demco Adapter # DM6099.
