Can A Sliding Fifth Wheel Hitch Be Used In A 2022 Ram 3500 Long Bed

I have a pullrite 2700 automatic slider hitch is it good or bad for my long bed truck cause it can’t be locked in the forward position? Thanks

It's not needed but there's nothing wrong with using your Pullrite 2700 Automatic Slider 5th wheel hitch in your 2022 Ram 3500 long bed. It just means you'll have plenty of extra turning clearance and won't need to worry about the nose of the 5th wheel coming into contact with the cab of your Ram.
If you don't already have an in-bed 7-way connector you can also install the Curt 5th Wheel/Gooseneck Custom Wiring Harness w/ 7-Pole Connector # C56070 to make hooking up your trailer fast and easy. This custom harness plugs in-line with your existing factory wiring so that you can retain use of your Ram 3500's factory 7-pole.
