Question:
its Ranger trailer boat trailer has a GVWR of 2995. It uses 5 lug 14inch C rated tires but needs to be a style. single Axle I still need to measure everything and I believe I see what is needed in a Dexter 3500 pound axle but just wanting to be sure. What else should I look for to be sure?

When picking out a trailer axle you need to make sure you get a few things matched up. The capacity like you have already, the the length from hub face to hub face, and the distance between spring seats. The Dexter hub part # 7685269 that you referenced is a 3,500 lb axle that has a hub face to hub face dimension of 95 inches, has 80 inches between spring seats an also has a 4 inch drop. If that all matches what you have this would work well. If you need something else let me know.
