what is the difference between the Draw-tite 76171 and the Curt C13370 for my 2022 Honda Odyssey?

There are some differences to consider between the Draw-Tite Hitch # 76171 and the Curt Hitch # C13370 for your 2022 Honda Odyssey. First off is the weight capacity. The Draw-Tite offers 675 pounds of tongue weight and 4,500 pounds of gross towing weight capacity. The Curt, on the other hand, offers 525 pounds of maximum tongue weight and 3,500 pounds of maximum gross towing weight capacity.

Even though both of these hitches provide you with 11 inches of ground clearance from the ground to the lower lip of the receiver tube, the distance from the rear bumper is a bit different. For the Draw-Tite, it measures 4 inches from the center of the pinhole to the outward face of your bumper while the Curt only measures 3 inches. This measurement is important when considering the shank length of your hitch-mounted accessories to make sure you have enough length to clear the bumper.

For other differences, the Curt has a superior gloss coating over the base powder coat that gives you more protection against rust and corrosion than the powder coat of the Draw-Tite. Also, the Curt is assembled here in the U.S.A. while the Draw-Tite is assembled overseas.

When all said, and done, I recommend the Curt hitch for the advantage of the gloss outer coat and the shorter distance to the bumper. If you need a wiring harness to complete the setup, the part you need is the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness - 4-Way # 118781.
