To best combat chucking, between a MORryde and Rota-Flex pin box, the best option to replace your Lippert 1621 is the Rota-Flex, with the correct part number being the following:
- Trailair Rota-Flex 5th Wheel Pin Box # LC328330
While no pin box is going to 100 percent eliminate chucking, the Rota-Flex # LC328330 will do the best job of minimizing it. The reason is that not only does it have a rubber compound - as does the MORryde - but the entire head of the Rota-Flex is able to pivot. This means that when there is movement, the Rota-Flex head will compensate with that slight movement.
That means the king pin isn't going to be moving inside your hitch, instead it will be the head of the Rota-Flex that moves, and works alongside the rubber compound to minimize chucking and give you a much more comfortable towing experience.
