Replacement Tail Lights for 1986 Toyota Dolphin

Question:

Hello! I need to replace the tail lights on my 1986 Toyota Dolphin. Best I can tell, the Bargman 84 series is what is on there now, and so will hopefully be an easy swap, but I have a few questions: - If I went with the LED version, what else would I need to add like resistance? to make this setup work? The white trim of these would match my existing lights, so might be preferred if its an easy swap. - If I went with the incandescent version, will I need to purchase bulbs separately or are they included? - In either case, on my Dolphin now, there is currently a wedge shaped mounting bezel/bracket maybe 15deg? that brings the lights to horizontal is that something that is available separately? - The product descriptions for these lights mention both a grommet and a mounting bracket, sold separately. Could you please point me towards those products? Thanks much!

The Bargman LED Triple Tail Light - 5 Function - 36 Diodes - White Base - Red and Clear Lens # 47-84-530 will more than likely need load resistors like the # DI34ZR if you choose to install them. You can always try to install the lights without the load resistors and see if they function properly, but based on the fact that you have a 1986 Toyota Dolphin it is a safe bet to say they will be necessary.

The Bargman Triple Tail Light - 5 Function - Incandescent - Rectangle - Black Base - Red and Clear Lens # 30-84-509 do come with the bulbs installed if you choose to stick with the incandescent lights. We do not have a wedge shaped mounting bracket but assuming the dimensions mount up you should be able to use what you have now or use the existing cutout. Both lights measure 14-1/16" long x 6-15/16" wide x 2-1/4" thick.
