Can Trailer Tail Light Kits with a 4-Way Connector be Used on a Trailer with a 6-Way Connector
Question:
I have a Carson 16foot car carrier with brakes and a battery. I need to re-wire everything due to someone not me plugging the 6 way connector into the truck upside down. Do I purchase this kit as well as brake and battery wire, then connect everything to the 6 way plug or is there a complete kit for that?

You can use a trailer wiring kit like # TL5RK but to connect it to the trailer side 6-Way you would need to cut off the 4-Way end and attach the wires to 6-Way connector. The wiring color/functions on this wiring kit are white is ground, brown is tail lights, yellow is left turn and brake, green is right turn and brake. Just connect the wires to your 6-Way by function and you will be set.
