Is 3500 lb Capacity Curt 13432 Hitch Sufficient for Launching 3000 lb Boat With 2019 Jeep Wrangler
Question:
I’m interested in this reciever. I haul a 16ft boat which weighs 3000pds total. Would it hold up pulling her up boat ramp? I know it’s good to 3500 but going up ramp makes it pull harder. If you don’t think it would can you please recommend one that would. Thanks

According to the folks at Curt, 3500 lb capacity of their # 13432 hitch would indeed be sufficient for launching and retrieving your 3000 lb boat at the boat ramp.
This being said, if you'll also be using the hitch as a mounting point for a bike rack, you'll probably want to go with the # C13392 which has a 3 inch longer receiver tube which will allow more clearance between the hitch mounted accessory and the rear of the Jeep. This hitch has the same capacity as the # 13432.
You'll also need a trailer wiring harness like # 118786.
