Differences Between Draw-Tite Class III Hitches for 2022 Ford Escape

Both the Draw-Tite # DR47FR and the # DT95MR are both fits for the 2022 Ford Escape. The # DR47FR fits gas engine models only, and will be mostly visible when installed. The # DT95FR fits bolt gas and hybrid models, and features a crossbar that will be hidden behind the bumper when the hitch is installed.

Both hitches have the same weight capacity.

If you'll be towing with the hitch, you'll also need the # TE54FR trailer wiring harness, a ball mount like # 2753 and a trailer ball like # 19261 for a 1-7/8 or # 63845 for a 2 inch ball.
