Question:
Hello, I understand the wiring of 2 12v batteries, but I see some differences in the leads going to the trailer. One way shows one lead + coming from one of the batteries and the other - from the other battery. Another way shows both leads coming from one of the batteries. Can you explain the difference? Cheers

There are two ways you can wire up 2 batteries. One way is in series and the other way is in parallel. In series doubles the voltage but keeps amperage the same whereas in parallel you double the amperage but keep voltage the same. Parallel is the most common way typically.
