How To Choose Correct Ball Mount for 2022 Genesis GV70
Question:
Hi I have an Genesis GV70 and just had a hitch put on it. My GV is fairly low to the ground and when I tried to hook up my boat the trailer tounge jack would not lower all the way on the ball. The ball mount I have has a 2 inch rise. Is there anyway I can send a picture of how it currently sits to see how much of a rise I may need to hook up my boat trailer and also if I might need a small extender if trailer would is too close to the back of my vehicle. thanks

In order to find the correct amount of rise/drop to look for in a ball mount you simply need to measure the distance from the ground to the bottom of the trailer coupler while level and then from the ground to the top inside edge of the receiver on the vehicle. The difference will be your rise/drop. I have attached our ball mount and hitch extender options below once you get the above info, just be aware that the hitch extenders reduce capacity by 50%.
