Replacement Trailer Bearing Kit For a Tandem Axle Trailer That Has L68149 Inner Bearings
Question:
This is an inner bearing from my 16 foot tandem axel trailer. I cannot identify the outer bearing number. I cannot identify the grease seal number. Are these parts standard to inner bearing that you can identify the correct part ? Do you have this part in a Made in the USA version? I need replacement parts for 4 hub assembles, both bearings, races, grease seal, and washer. Do you have a package or simple order Xs 4. Thanks

The Replacement Trailer Hub Bearing # L68149 is most commonly used as an inner bearing on 3,500lb #84 spindle trailer axles. We do carry the Hub Bearing Kit # BK2-100 that will contain replacement bearings, races, grease seal, a cotter pin and tang washer for one hub on your axle. You would need to order 4 of these to refresh your hubs on your tandem axle trailer.
We do not carry bearings that are made in the USA as once the cost is compared the china bearings are picked. You will not need to worry about the quality of the bearings being sub par as they have to conform to strict specifications and they are the same bearings used by companies like Dexter and Lippert who build most the axles you see on trailers today.
I do recommend pulling one of your Hubs/Drums # AKHD-545-35-EZ-K apart to check the Brakes # 23-468-469. You may need a new hub which is available with the races and bearings installed to save you time on replacing everything on your trailer. If you find that they are damaged or worn I will need to know the hub bolt pattern, size of the brakes and electric or hydraulic to ensure you get the correct replacments.
