2019 Ram 1500 Fitment for Yakima HD Tracks and Tonneau Cover

Question:

Hi, I just want to confirm that by starting with the 60 inch HD track, I can build a rack system over the covered bed of my truck. I have a Ram 1500 with the 64 inch bed and no Rambox. It has a soft, roll-up tonneau cover. By using the Yakima HD track Y74MR, can I mount the Landing Pad 26 Y75ZR and Skyline Towers Y00152? Do you think I can use the 66 inch round bars with this set up? its about 66 inch between the centers of each rail and it looks like the Skyine Towers lean inward in a way that should work. I appreciate any assistance you can provide.

As long as you can fit the 2" wide Yakima 60" HD Tracks # Y74MR so you have no less than 1/8" overhanging the outside of your truck bed side (see attached) you're good to go.

This then allows you to use 2 sets of the Landing Pad 26 # Y75ZR and SkyLine Towers # Y53TR for a base system.

The 66" Round Crossbars # Y00410 might work but I'm not sure if you'll have the clearance for that since I'm not sure where the Yakima tracks will sit. If they truly can sit in the middle of your rails and that measures 66" then you should be able to make it work. You could also just play it safe and get the 78" Round Bars # Y00411 and cut them to the length you want. Keep in mind you need the SL Adapters # Y03536 for the Round Bars to fit the SkyLine feet, and then you probably want to pick up the EndCaps # Y8007026 as well.

We also have the 70" Yakima JetStream Crossbars # Y00427 which fit directly to the SkyLine towers if you want to go that route instead.
