Installer new unit but stairs are down when they should be up help??

The most common reason that your steps may be going the opposite way they should after installing the Replacement Lippert Components 5:1 Gearbox With Motor for RV Steps # LC62FR is due to the actuating arm being in the wrong position during installation.
I have included a video on the installation of the Replacement Lippert Components 5:1 Gearbox With Motor for RV Steps # LC62FR, at about the 3:05 mark he touches on the positioning of the arm for installation.
