Can the Draw-Tite Hitch for a 2020 Toyota RAV4 Be Used as a Step

Question:

Im willing to pay a but more if this DrawTite 2inch trailer hitch features a flat plate on top so I can stand on one leg and check cargo in my roof rack. Fits a 2020 TOYOTA RAV4. First video showinf 3 models shows the DrawTites flat top plate but the second installation video does not. 2 I also want to know whether thus kits electrical lines are the more convenient plug-in type at the rear or the more difficult lines that connect waaay up front. Intended for a 2020 Toyota RAV4.

The Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver part # DT82QR which is a fit for a 2020 Toyota RAV4 won't extend far enough out from the bumper in order to get a foot on the hitch therefore you will want to use an actual hitch mounted step like the Bully Black Bull Hitch-Mounted Step part # BBS-1102. This will be the case for any hitch, they are all designed to sit behind the bumper an inch or so.

In regard to trailer wiring, the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector part # C56434 is a plug-in-play fit for this vehicle with no splicing. There are two plugs, one for each taillight but you do have to run one power wire to the front.
