Weight Distribution Options for Camper Trailer with 400 lb Tongue Weight
Question:
Hello, Im trying to decide what weight distribution hitch I need for my camper. The camper sighs 2900# empty gvw 3800lbs 400# young weight. there are so many choices. I think I want sway control. Any suggestions would be great, I want something that will work well but I dont need anything fancy.

For more of a basic weight distribution that is rated for your 400 lb tongue weight trailer the Reese kit part # RP65509 would work really well. Or for a similar Reese kit with the best sway control at preventing sway before it starts you'd want the Strait Line part # RP66082. For a kit with a less involved sway control the Blue Ox part # BLU36FR has friction sway control built into it's head design.
