Question:
Im looking to purchase a 6x12 enclosed trailer. While looking Ive found they can get incredibly hot inside. I need to keep it as cool as possible and looking for the best way to do that. Besides insulation Im thinking about adding a vent/vent fan. Do you have recommendations? I dont have electricity, but may consider a small solar panel and battery if needed. Im thinking a 12v or straight solar ceiling vent. Id like to keep this as cheap as possible but effective. It will also have to be able to work in the rain. Thank you!

I recommend installing a standard manual lifting roof vent, like the Ventline Ventadome Trailer Roof Vent # V2092SP-29 for a smoke color, or # V2092SP-28 for a white color.
I suggest also adding the MaxxAir Standard RV and Trailer Roof Vent Cover # MA00-933066. which will allow you to keep your vent open while keeping out rain and water.
To take it a step further, you can also install the 2-Piece Polypropylene Trailer Vent for 3" Diameter Hole # WHMAV2-WAVT2 lower on the trailer to create a nice cross-wind, and help moderate the temperature.
If you need something more of like an air conditioner like the Atwood Air Command Rooftop RV Air Conditioner # AT15032-22, you're going to need to install either an inverter # 34280178, or use a generator like # 333-0005.
4,500-Watt Portable RV Generator - 3,600 Running Watts - Propane or Gas - Electric Start
Go Power Heavy-Duty Modified Sine Wave Inverter - 3,000 Watts - 12V
Atwood Air Command Rooftop RV Air Conditioner - 11.3 Amps - 13,500 Btu - Ducted - Black
MaxxAir Standard RV and Trailer Roof Vent Cover - 19" x 18-1/2" x 9-1/2" - White
Ventline Ventadome Trailer Roof Vent - Manual - 14-1/4" x 14-1/4" - White
2-Piece Polypropylene Trailer Vent for 3" Diameter Hole - White
Ventline Ventadome Trailer Roof Vent - Manual - 14-1/4" x 14-1/4" - Smoke
