You will need a etrailer Trailer Wiring 7-Way Upgrade Kit w/ Junction Box # e99011 if you do not already have a 7-way on the front of your Trailer. This will then tie into a Bright Way Push-to-Test Trailer Breakaway Kit # 3802308 before going to the brakes themselves. You will need 12 Gauge Wire # 12-1-1(sold by the foot) to run to the trailer brakes(see diagram). Connectors # DW05745-1 and Ring Terminals # 44-5310A are needed to terminate the brake wires at the drums.
