Recommended Swivel Jack With Footplate and 1,250 Pound Capacity for Boat Trailer

Question:

I have a Dutton Lainson Fixed trailer jack on my boat trailer. The winder knob got bent. I would like one with a fixed foot plate, no wheel. Rated at 1250lb and swivels to get out of way of ground while traveling. Let me know my options.

For a jack that meets all of your requirements I recommend the Bulldog Round, Bolt-Thru Swivel Jack - Sidewind - 10" Lift - 2,000 lbs # BD154102. This jack comes with a footplate and has a lift capacity of 2,000 lbs. It has a bolt-on installation with a bracket height of 10-13/16" when retracted and 20-13/16" when extended for a 10" lift.

This uses a spring-loaded plunger-pin for the swivel feature which will allow you to stow the jack parallel to the tongue for travel. It has a built in grease zerk and is zinc plated for corrosion resistance. You will also need the # F500349 and # F500286 for installation.

I have attached a review video for your reference.
