Hello Is there a replacement remote for this older model? I can see a remote where the panel looks the same but in a different direction...the one I have sits horizontally. The actual direction is not a problem if it works. Many thanks for the help.

The Replacement Digital Remote Control for Fan # FV9068-81 will not work for your Fantastic Fan Model 6505-414, unfortunately.
There are no replacement remotes available as this unit, as it is no longer in production.
Instead, I recommend installing a Fan-Tastic Vent 7350 Series Upgrade Kit # FV807359, which will allow you to use your existing fan but still be able to utilize a remote.

You can upgrade your entire unit, with Fan-Tastic Vent Roof Vent w/ 12V Fan and Remote # FV807350.
