If you are considering the Thule Helium Pro 3 Bike Rack - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches # TH9043PRO and the Thule Apex XT 4 # TH9025XT, there are some differences to consider. First off, since the Helium is made of durable aluminum, it has a lighter overall weight of only 20 pounds. To compare, the Apex is made of steel which increases the weight to 35 pounds. If you are looking for an easy-to-attach option that is less work when attaching and removing, the Helium is the better rack for that purpose. With the rustproof aluminum construction, the Helium line of racks are some of the lightest that we offer here on etrailer. Even though the rack is not as economical as the Apex, it does have a better overall construction.
If, however, you crucially need the extra bike position to have a total of 4 bikes, I recommend going with the Apex.
For transporting women's bikes, children's bikes, or bikes with step-thru frames, you need a Swagman Bike Frame Adapter Bar # 64005 for each of those bikes in order to attach to the arms of the racks.
If you need a compatible hitch to use the racks on your 2015 Nissan Rogue, I suggest the Draw-Tite - 2" # 75902. This hitch comes with a completely concealed crosstube so that there are no bulky eyesores on your vehicle. Also, the # 75902 does not require stabilizing straps like the competitor Curt Hitch # C13204. With the # 75902, you will have enough bumper clearance length when using both the Helium and the Apex. If you need assistance with the installation, I attached a video that shows the process on your 2015 Nissan Rogue.
