For the easiest route, I recommend keeping your # S64663 and purchasing the SeaSucker Mini Bomber Bike Rack for 2 Bikes - Fork Mount - Vacuum Cup Mount # 298-BM2006 for when you have to transport those 2 additional bikes. The Mini Bomber mounts effectively to the roof of your Mazda CX-9 and does not interfere with the XC2. I attached a demo video that shows the true strength of the SeaSucker vacuum cups. This rack fits 9-mm thru-axles for a fork-mount attachment style. If the 2 additional bikes happen to have different fork dimensions, there are many adapters available to use the Mini Bomber.
