Installing A Transmission And Oil Cooler On My 2017 Chevrolet Colorado

2017 Chevy Colorado Z71 Duramax diesel Do I remove both lines and just put in new cooler Or Do I ad after radiator? If so which side is the exit?

I spoke with a representative from Derale. They said the Derale Combination Transmission and Engine Oil Cooler with Multiple Threads, part # D15902, is not a directional cooler. The exit will be wherever you want it to be. He also told me though this cooler would be a great engine oil cooler for your 2017 Chevrolet Colorado Z71 Duramax diesel, you will need a separate transmission cooler because the hose barb fittings are a different size than your transmission lines. My transmission cooler recommendation is the Derale Series 8000 Plate-Fin Transmission Cooler Kit w/Barb Inlets - Class II - Efficient, part # D13501

If you have room in front of your radiator, you should place the transmission cooler there. It will get the most air and have the least amount of obstruction in front of your radiator. If you decide to use a separate transmission cooler and a separate engine oil cooler, you should place the engine oil cooler on the back of the radiator.

I have included product description links, an installation video link, and a video review link below.
