If you want to re-use your existing base rails in the 5th wheel set up in your new 2013 Silverado 2500HD you will want to use Reese Quick-Install Custom Bracket Kit # RP50066. This will work with your existing base rails.
The other bracket kit you were reviewing, Reese # RP56001, is intended for extended-length base rails such as Reese # RP30153. Your existing base rails will not fit these brackets.
The Reese Custom Bracket Kit # RP50066 includes hardware for installation on the frame rails of your Silverado. Since this is a custom-fit product your drilling and installation time will be reduced as compared to universal kits. Installation instructions are linked for your reference.
While it is fine to re-use your exiting base rails in the new truck you do not want to use your old hardware to affix them. We offer a Replacement 10-Bolt Hardware Kit, part # RP58430, which includes all bolts, nut, washers and spacers. You might also consider using the Curt Fifth Wheel Rail Sound Dampeners, part # 16900. These install like gaskets and help reduce hitch rattle while you drive.
