Parts Needed to Install 7-Way Adapter on 2018 Toyota RAV4
Question:
Hi. I have a trailer hitch and 4 pin wiring harness from etrailer installed on my 2018 Rav4. Recently I needed to pull something with a 7 pin connector but not use all the connections. So I purchased a 7 pin connector that takes a 4 pin as input. I didnt connect the remaining wires. Things have changed and Id like to hook up the 7 pin completely asking with a curt Bluetooth brake controller. Is there a harness I can use that doesnt already come with the 7 pin connector portion? Thanks.

In order to add the additional wiring needed to use your brake controller and have 12V power you need the Wiring Kit for 2, 4, 6, and 8 Brake Electric Trailer Brake Controllers # 5506. This kit comes with everything you need to hook up the additional wires on your existing 7-way adapter.
I'm not sure if you're going to use the Curt Echo # C27JR or the Curt Echo # C51180, but this will allow you to use either of them.
I have attached an installation video for your reference.
