Parts Needed to Move Valley 70503 5th Wheel Hitch from 2012 Tundra to 2013

Question:

I have a Valley 70503 5th wheel hitch with slider rails currently installed in a 2012 Tundra. I want to move it to a 2013 SD F250 4X4 Crew Cab. What kit do I need to install this? Are will the tundra kit work?

If your Valley 70503 5th wheel hitch was installed in your 2012 Toyota Tundra with a vehicle-specific custom under-bed bracket kit then these parts will not fit your 2013 Ford F250 Super-Duty 4X4 Crew Cab. If the installation was done using a universal-fit bracket kit like the Husky # HT31563 that you referenced then these parts could be re-used on the Ford F250, but we recommend new hardware be used. You will need to do a fair bit of drilling on the F250 in order to re-use this universal kit.

We do offer a custom 5th wheel install kit for the 2013 F250 that will fit both 6-3/4-foot and 8-foot beds. Reese Quick-Install Custom Base Rail Installation Kit # RP50026-58 includes custom under-bed brackets, base rails and all required mounting hardware and will install in about half the time of a universal-fit kit. I have linked a video for this item showing installation on a 2012 F250. This kit works with Valley hitches except for the UBS model.
