Recommended Trailer Brake Controller For a 2018 Nissan Titan With Tow Package
Question:
I have a 2018 Nissan Titan with a tow package. Looking for brake controller to install. Interested in Tekonsha P3, but only the P2 shows on your website for a 2018 Titan. Is the P3 really not compatible? It is my understanding that the P2 and P3 are only slightly different in user interface.

When it comes to installing a brake controller in your 2018 Nissan Titan The Tekonsha Prodigy P3 Trailer Brake Controller - 1 to 4 Axles - Proportional # 90195 is compatible with your vehicle, but you would also need The Tekonsha Plug-In Wiring Adapter for Electric Brake Controllers - Nissan and Infiniti # 3050-P.
The main difference between The P3 and The P2 is that The P3 has 5 storable settings that let you customize controller for multiple trailers, varying loads or different drivers. It also has the bigger LCD display. The adapter is a plug and play adapter that plugs into the controller and then into the plug underneath your dashboard.
I attached an installation video link below.
