Is the hitch receiver which appears to be the only visible part removable from the bar when it’s not in use?

When installing The etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Matte Black Finish - Class III - 2 inch # e98840 on your 2020 Acura MDX the hitch receiver can not be removed. its welded onto the hitch.

The hitch has a simple bolt-on installation, with no welding required. The hitch has a matte black powder coat finish.

That style of hitch is not available for your vehicle.
