The distance will be 12-1/4 inches from the bottom of your 2-1/2 inch receiver to the bottom of the Gen-Y torsion ball mount you asked about, which is the following part number:
- Gen-Y Torsion 2-Ball Mount w/ Stacked Receivers - 2-1/2" Hitch - 6" Drop/Rise - 21K # 325-GH-1324
I do highly recommend a lock set to lock the ball mount to your hitch, as well as the platform to the ball mount, by adding the InfiniteRule Lock Set for Gen-Y 21K Adjustable Ball Mounts for 2-1/2" Hitches # 34061651-D.
