Will 50 Inch or 53 Inch Thule WingBar Evo Crossbars Fit 2022 Subaru Outback Wagon Raised Rails

Question:

Was looking for crossbars and feet for my 22 outback wilderness. Was just curious in the packages you have why the Thule wingbar evo with the rapid crossroad feet are all 53 inch bars and the packages with the aero raised rail feet all have 50 inch crossbars. I know the aero raised rail feet have a higher load rating. Is there a reason for this? New to buying these so was wondering why they both dont have either 50 inch or 53 inch bars.

That's just how Thule has it listed on their site. In all honesty you should be able to use either one for the raised rails on your 2022 Subaru Outback Wagon Wilderness:

WingBar Evo Crossbars - 50" # TH711320 or 53" # TH711420
Evo Raised Rail Feet - # TH710401
Lock Core Kit - # TH450400 (optional)

This newer system does have a higher 220 lb load rating so there is that advantage of the Evo Raised Rail Feet like you mentioned and is why I recommend going with that over the Rapid Crossroad Feet 450R.
