To replace a hitch ball on the Blue Ox SwayPro Weight Distribution # BLU66FR you will need a 1-7/8" 12pt Thin Walled Socket # ALL643216. This socket will fit inside the opening for the nut that fastens the hitch ball. The socket will require a 3/4" Ratchet # PT74VR.
You will then be able to replace the hitch ball with a 2" # A-90 or 2-5/16" # C40030 Hitch Ball. Using White Grease Hitch Ball Lube # 58117 will help to reduce damage to the hitch ball as it will shed water from the ball.
