Question:

I have a 16 foot enclosed trailer that I work out of daily. Im looking for an ac and heat system that will work in my trailer along with a generator to provide my own power for the unit and lights in my trailer. I would also like to get a power jack for the tongue.

For an air conditioning unit for your 16' enclosed trailer, I recommend the Furrion Chill RV Air Conditioner and Air Distribution Box w/ Built-in Thermostat # FAC1411MA-W. You can then add the Furrion Heat Strip Add-On for Furrion Air Conditioner # FR35SR for heat. The Furrion Chill A/C will let you add an A/C to your trailer and has dual fans that move cool air efficiently. The included air distribution box features a convenient, built-in thermostat to control the fan and temperature settings. It also has a start capacitor that offers an extra boost to help jump-start the AC.

The A-iPower 5,000-Watt Portable Generator # 289-AP5000 will provide you with enough power to run your A/C and lights in your trailer. This is not an inverter generator, so it will not work with sensitive electronics like phones and computers but it will work well for the A/C and lights.

Without knowing the weight of your trailer, the Stromberg Carlson Electric Trailer Jack # JET-5000 is likely to be a great option for you. This jack has a weight capacity of 5,000 lbs. (the weight is based on the tongue weight of your trailer which is 10%-15% of the trailers total weight). This jack has 23" of total lift (18" of travel and 5" drop leg) and a bolt-on installation.
