Can 2021 Lexus RX 350 Carry 342 Pound Scooter Using Hidden Hitch by Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch Receiver

Question:

I want to put this on the Lexus and put a 342 pound scooter on a small scooter lift. Will this be dangerous as I am approaching the tongue weight of the hitch?

As long as you do not exceed the tongue weight capacity of the Hidden Hitch by Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch Receiver # DT58GR or your vehicle you can carry the 342 lb scooter. However, you will need to know the weight of the scooter lift as well. If this puts you over the 350 lb tongue weight capacity you will not be able to use the hitch.

I'm not sure what kind of scooter you have but it may also be possible to pull off the battery/batteries to reduce the weight and carry it safely. This is likely the only solution to be able to carry the scooter on your 2021 Lexus RX 350.
