Can I Use the Swagman Tajo # S65146 with a Yakima Grand Tour Cargo Box?

It truly depends on what model of Yakima Grand Tour cargo box you have. Since the arm of the Swagman Tajo Wall Mounted Kayak Storage System # S65146 extends out about 15-1/2 inches from the wall, it truly depends of the height of your box model. For instance, if you have the Yakima GrandTour Lo Rooftop Cargo Box - 15 Cubic Ft # Y46FR, this would work because the box is only 10" tall. With the Yakima GrandTour Rooftop Cargo Box - 16 Cubic Ft # YA74FR, the box would not fit since it measures 18" tall. I went ahead and attached a screenshot that shows the length of the # S65146.

If you happen to have a model that exceeds the limits of the Swagman Tajo, we have an option with longer arms that definitely works. That is the Rhino-Rack Storage Rack for Kayak or Cargo Box - Wall Mount # RRRWHL. The arms on this model are a much longer 24-9/16" long. I went ahead and attached a photo of a neighbor using the # RRRWHL with a cargo box to give you perspective. Even though the Rhino-Rack does not have the folding feature, it is the larger option.
