Recommended Trailer Wiring Harness for 2017 Cadillac XT5 Without Tow Package
Question:
How do I hook up a wiring harness directly to the battery when I don’t have a factory toe package? I have a 2017 Cadillac xt5 luxury edition. I bought by hitch from your company last week.

Expert Reply:
The 2017 Cadillac XT5's should all come with a tow package port regardless of options so the trailer wiring harness installs are all plug-in play, there is no physical battery connection. I recommend the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness part # 118720 for 4-way or part # 118276 for 7-way. These will both plug into a port under the rear bumper.
