Does Draw Tite Hitch for 2021 Jeep Wrangler 4xe Require Drilling When Replacing OEM Hitch

Question:

I have a 2021 Jeep Wrangler 4xe with the factory tow package class 2 hitch. I plan on towing a small-ish camper and will be using a weight distribution hitch blue ox track pro. I was thinking about upgrading the hitch to the draw-tite class 3 hitch and was curious if the 7-pin bracket connector would interfere with the new hitch. I read on the forums about someone replacing it with the curt hitch and needing to drill new holes. Not a big deal, but if the draw tite doesnt need any drilling, Id prefer that instead. Does the draw-tite hitch and retaining the factory 7-pin bracket require any drilling when replacing the factory class 2 hitch?

The Draw Tite hitch part # DT78MR that fits your 2021 Jeep Wrangler 4xe does not require drilling to replace your factory hitch. This does install in the same way as the Curt so it would require some modification to mount the factory 7-way like the Curt most likely.
