Weight Distribution System for a 2014 Forest River RV Cherokee Grey Wolf 29BH and Storage Bag

I have a 2013 Ram 1500 with the following actual tow capacities: Max trailer 8,600, GVWR 6,800, GAWR 3,900 FandR, GCWR 14,150. I have purchased a 2014 Forest River RV Cherokee Grey Wolf 29BH that has a dry weight of 6,784 and a max weight of 7,700. Im looking at 3 different products, so Im really looking for the best of one of these 3. • Curt C17062 • Fastway FA94-00-1000 • Equal-i-zer EQ37100ET Any thoughts?

I would be happy to help you find a weight distribution system for your 2014 Forest River RV Cherokee Grey Wolf 29BH. A weight distribution system is chosen off of the tongue weight of the trailer. The tongue weight is somewhere around 10% -15% of the trailer's total weight if it is loaded correctly. Your Forest River will have a tongue weight range of 770 lbs - 1,155 lbs. All three of the weight distribution systems you were looking at top out at 1,000 lbs. You will need a higher capacity system. I recommend the Blue Ox TrackPro Weight Distribution 13K GTW, 1.3K TW item # BLU27FR. This weight distribution system has build in sway control and includes an seven hole shank. It is rated for up to 1,300 lbs of tongue weight. I have linked a review video below.

I also recommend the Classic Accessories Tow Bar and Weight Distribution Tote item # CA80113. This heavy duty bag is perfect for storing your weight distributing hitch. It is 36" x 11" Wide x 8" Tall and has padding that prevents damage to your hitch and prevents dings to your vehicle's cargo area from shifting gear.
