Anti Theft Device for Use with Storage Trunk for Malone MicroSport Trailer

Question:

Is there a provision for securing the box to the trailer so when Im paddling, the box cant be lifted away. The strap doesnt seem to provide security.

I have a solution but Malone doesn't offer any type of anti-theft device for the Malone cargo box # MPG481 like what you are looking for. So what I would recommend is using a cable lock like the master Lock Python Cable Lock part # 8419DPF. You'd want to route this around the box and the trailer and it will keep the lid closed as the box secured to the trailer.
