Boat Trailer Wiring With 7-Wires Coming From 5-Way Flat Trailer Connector
Question:
I have a 5 flat plug with 7 wires do you have these plugs?

The 5-Pole Flat Connector # A40W5B is our closest harness to what currently have. The newer harnesses we have will only have a short ground wire and your harness likely has a separate ground white wire that runs down each side of the trailer like the brown running lights wire on this harness. You can use this harness but will have to ground your lights on the trailer frame and allow the trailer to complete the ground circuit.
If you are only needing to replace the end connector you can use the Hopkins Endurance 5-Way Flat Trailer Connector # HM47910 and splice your 2 grounds and 2 running light connections to the single wires coming from the connector.
If you have different wiring coming from your 5-way please let me know.
