2017 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Front Mount Hitch and Winch Mounting Plate Recommendations

Question:

I have a 2017 JKU Willys Wrangler. In my cart I have a front mount hitch 31432, winch mount 6495 or C31010 and winch 31432. I have three questions. 1. What’s the difference between mounts 6495 and C31010? 2. Will the winch 31432 fit either mount? 3. Do you recommend one over the other or alternatives? Thanks

The Curt Front Mount Trailer Hitch Receiver # 31432 will fit your 2017 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited and is compatible with both the Draw-Tite 6495 and the Curt # C31010.

The mounting holes on both winch mounting plates are compatible with the standard 10" x 4-1/2" and 6-1/2" x 4-1/2" dimensions but I like the Curt a little better because it has a longer shank and a few more bolt holes in the shank so you can adjust it best for your application. Aside from that there really isn't a difference except they are made by 2 different companies.
