Sounds like you have the Curt 16k E16 Hitch for the OEM prep package of your 2018 Nissan Titan XD with the part # C16515-16026 and are wanting a way to convert the base to a slider for turning clearance.

The only way you'll be able to pull that off would be by using the Demco base rail kit adapter part # DM6200 which fits your gooseneck puck and gives a standard base rail set up. Then you could take the head of your hitch and install it on the R16 slider base part # C16560 and you'd have a hitch that can fit the Demco rail adapter. This would essentially give you the E16 slider hitch you referenced part # 16516.
