I see there is a picture with a canoe loaded on top of the ladder rack...is there some sort of load assist device to make that easier?

The Malone Axis Truck Bed and Roof Load Extender with Load Roller # MAL32VR will allow you to more easily load your canoe on the Malone TradeSport Truck Bed Ladder Rack # MAL55VR. This roller also acts as an extension to provide a more stable platform for holding the canoe. It can also be used with other long loads as a bed extender.
