Recommended Lightweight Cargo Carrier for 2014 Ford Flex

We just purchased a 2014 Ford Flex, which cargo carrier would be best for our vehicle. We are interested in the 60 inch and we would like as light weight as possible as my husband has severe back pain.

We offer two different lightweight aluminum cargo carriers, the Curt folding 19x60 inch model, part # C18100 or the 22-1/2x49 inch Curt fixed you referenced, part # C18113.

Both carriers weigh just under 30 lbs and are the lightest cargo carriers we offer. Either carrier would be compatible with your Flex, but since you mentioned that you were more interested in a 60 inch wide carrier, the 60-inch model might be your best bet. Since the C18100 is rather long, it is important that when the carrier is loaded, the weight is properly balanced on the carrier. Placing heavier items toward the center of the carrier is best.
