Can Saris Door County Bike Rack Be Used At Back of Motorhome

Hello - Will the Saris Door County Bike Rack work on our Thor Omni BT36 RV as long as we have a 7-pin connection? Is there anything special we should be aware of when selecting an electric bike rack for our RV? Thank you!

The Saris Door County Bike Rack # SAR42RR is a really unique option but it is only rated for use on passenger vehicles as it can't handle the extra movement found at the back of motorhomes and towable trailers so we need to look for a different bike rack solution.

For your application I recommend checking out the Hollywood Racks RV Rider Bike Rack # HLY64FR instead. This is designed for heavier e-bikes and has been rated for use on a motorhome as well. It doesn't have the whole "elevator" system the Door Country does so you will need to lift up the bikes on your own.

The only other thing you may need is the Thule License Plate Holder for Bike Racks # TH35JV to make sure your bikes aren't hiding the license plate on the back of your Thor motorhome.
