Kuat Sherpa, RockyMounts MonoRail, or Dr Tray for 2017 Volkswagen Jetta

Hello there. Ive been doing a bit or research on trailer hitch bike racks, and I have a few questions. I have a 2017 VW Jetta, and Im looking to upgrade to a trailer hitch system. The three bike racks Ive been looking at are: -Kuat Sherpa 2.0 -RockyMounts MonoRail -Yakima Dr. Tray My main concern is that I want something a bit more compact and sits a little closer to the car. The size /shape of a mid-size car seems like it could look a little awkward with a massive rack hanging off the back. Please let me know if you can offer any assistance. Thank you so much! Of the bike racks you mentioned only the Kuat Sherpa 2.0 part # SH12G would work for you since it's the only one that can fit Class I hitches like what are available for your 2017 Volkswagen Jetta like the Draw Tite part # 24926. The other racks require Class II or higher hitches so they would not work. The Sherpa is a really great bike rack and based on what you are looking for would be a really great option. It's smaller, lighter-weight, and can fold up easily when not in use so that it's not hanging off the vehicle too much.
