Using the Yakima OnRamp with Aventon E-Bike with 4" Wide tires

Question:

My Aventon Sinch has 4# tires. It looks like the ramp for the Yakima OnRamp is designed for widths up to 3.25. Will I be able to roll my 4-inch up the ramp given this smaller width?

Expert Reply:

Yes. You will still be able to roll your 4" tires up the ramp onto the Yakima OnRamp # Y96FR (1-1/4" hitches) and # Y36FR (2" hitches). The wheels just may not sit cleanly within the channel of the ramp when loading. With your 4" tires, you also need the fat tire straps # Y23FR to attach the wheels to the platform.
