Question:

i have a 1972 truck bed camper tat has a 3 prong flat blade male power plug in the side to bring power into the camper, i cant find any adapters that fit it. they are flat not curved , about 1/4 inch wide and only about 1/4 inch apart in sort of a Y configuration, any recommendation ?

It sounds like you may have a connector on your truck bed camper that's similar to a hookup for a dryer. If that's the case we definitely don't have any adapters for it and you'll likely have a hard time finding one so rewiring it to a modern-style connector would be more beneficial and for that I recommend checking out the Pollak RV 7-Blade Plug End Socket w/Mounting Bracket # PK12-704. This gives you a modern 7-Way socket and plug so both your truck and camper connections will match.

Attached is a review video for you to check out.

Question:

Thanks for getting back to me Jon, if I'm not mistaken the plug you shared is for the 12 volt lights , same as if you were pulling a trailer, the plug I'm asking about is on the side of the camper and is just for the 110 power coming into the camper. I have attached a picture of the plug. Thanks again Ps I think you might be correct about just rewiring a new modern plug into it.

Thank you for the follow up and photo - this being a 110V shore power connection makes so much more sense!

Since this is for a truck camper it's likely a 30 Amp connection (I couldn't quite make out the amp rating on the photo you submitted) so for this you can upgrade the connections by using a standard twist lock connection with parts # A10-30INBKVP (camper) and # A10-3025EDBK (cord to shore power).

I've attached some review videos for these parts so you can see how they work - I do recommend verifying the amp rating for your setup as well.
