Need help with wiring harness. My 1999 f150 has 4 conductor flat trailer light connector. I wish to install a Tekonsha 90160 brake controller, and need the necessary wire harnesses.

To install the Tekonsha Primus IQ Trailer Brake Controller # TK90160 on your 1999 Ford F-150 you will only need a couple parts. First you will need the Tekonsha Plug-In Wiring Adapter # 3035-P to connect the brake controller to the factory harness under the dash. Then you will need the Ford Replacement OEM Tow Package Wiring Harness # 118242 to install a 7-way in place of the 4-way flat on your truck. This will include the necessary fuses and relays to activate the 7-way.
